monolith studios F.E.A.R. - 08 Interval 4, Infiltration: Watchers- UHD 4K

No commentary F.E.A.R. Playthrough in normal skill level, in glorious 4K.

F.E.A.R. is the second big hit from Monolith Productions (Blood, Shogo) after they delivered No One Lives Forever. Taking a completely different direction, this time we're facing a psychological horror b-series flick with super satisfying slow motion shootouts which would make John Woo proud. This game was THE benchmark for PC DirectX9 games until Crysis arrived, running a new version of the Jupiter engine with dark-crisp visuals, great ragdoll effects, and AI that would put the majority of todays titles to shame. I must say that the gunplay is as enjoyable as ever, still worth playing. I had some trouble with the sound, but running the integrated chip solved it.

F.E.A.R. fue el segundo gran hit de Monolith Productions (Blood, Shogo) después de deleitarnos con No One Lives Forever. Tomando un rumbo completamente distinto, esta vez estamos en un filme de terror psicológico de serie b con unos tiroteos super satisfactorios a cámara lenta que harían que John Woo se sintiese orgulloso. Este juego fue EL benchmark para juegos bajo DirectX9 hasta que llegó Crysis, corriendo bajo una nueva versión del motor Jupiter con unas visuales oscuras pero super definidas, excelentes efectos ragdoll, y una IA que avergüenza a la mayoría de los títulos actuales. Debo decir que el gunplay sigue siendo igual de divertido que siempre, todavía merece la pena jugarlo. Tuve algo de problemas con el sonido, pero nada que no arreglase cambiado al sonido integrado.
